We are traveling next April with six adults and two babies. Has anyone traveled with a group that size and rented one car? We usually use Emerald Isle. We are trying to decide if one large car or van can fit the two car seats and all the adults. Maybe two cars would be better. We are arriving from three different states so it is possible to due ME with some. I would like to be able to have one car we can all fit in if possible, but don't want to spend a fortune on it since the use will be limited mostly to trips to market to stock villa.
This is our 1st trip with granddaughter(born 8/29/2009 and new grandbaby TBD on or about 7/22/2010. Very excited to say the least.
Thanks for any help.:yay::goodvibes

We usually rent a big SUV. Most of them seat 8-9. They are very safe vehicles. I drove one for several years before getting a sports car. Now we rent a Expedition or Surburban.

You might find you will all fit in a van, but your luggage will not. Maybe have some take DME to the resort with bags and then once checked in, you can all fit.

Be careful with minivans because most only seat 7. If you will be staying onsite, you will probably get better rates if you rent from one of the companies that operates out of the Car Care Center or Disney area hotels. You will probably be better off with two cars. But if it is just for making a trip to the store, you could probably do with one car, and have someone stay at the villa with the two small kids.
