Vegetarian options at Cathay Circle

Ok, we ate there on opening weekend with one vegetarian and one that is cutting back on meat consumption.

Here is how it works:
First, you will need to email DLR.Special.Diets@disney.com and let them know the number of people in your party, the dining times and locations, how many have dietary needs and what the restrictions are.

Is this standing area/WOC section only open to CC guests? Or is there another restaurant that offers the same standing area? We had a really lousy experience with WOC last year, and I would gladly dine at CC (I'm vegan and gluten free, and the kids are picky) if it gets us in to a better viewing area for WOC.

I think it is open only to CCT guests. I noticed a family we passed in CCT. We were at the 10:15 show and people had gotten there earlier and had the rail spots but it wasn't crowded at all. We entered and a CM escorted us to the section. I did notice that he took another family further down and into a more crowded area. This area is closely monitored by CMs at the entrance and along the roped area, since it's not very crowded. I imagine that the earlier show would be more crowded.

Just as an FYI, I had lunch at Carthay today and asked about vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options. They said they were happy to create or adapt dishes for their guests. The server made a point of telling me that they want everyone to enjoy their meal and would be happy to do what was necessar to make that happen.

Having dined with a vegetarian at Napa Rose (also headed by Chef Sutton), I was very impressed with how well they accommodated my friend.

It's great that they will adapt or create meals for those with special dietary needs. But it would be nice to see items on the menu too.
