Vegetarian-friendly TS Ideas for Birthday Dinner (mine!) with Family

We're heading to WDW (staying at BWV) for my 42nd birthday at the end of May. DH has alot of family in Florida and a bunch of them are going to join us for part of the weekend. Flying Fish sounds like it might be a good option for a group dinner, but does anyone have any experience with their vegetarian options? I'm a strict vegetarian (no meat/fish/poultry, stocks, gelatin, etc.) and I didn't see anything on the menu, other than side dishes, that were really vegetarian.

I think everyone else would like Flying Fish, but as the Birthday Girl, I want to make sure I have a nice experience too. ;) Any other TS suggestions (not too $$$$, if possible) would be greatly appreciated! DH and I have been to several TS restaurants at WDW, but we usually stick to ones that we know are vegetarian-friendly. I wouldn't mind branching out to something new this time. I'd also like to avoid the awkward conversation with the server at the table about what might or might not work, especially with family there.

TIA!

Boma has the best vegetarian options, but not sure if you want a buffet for your birthday. Also The Wave has nice choices as well.

OMGOSH try Kouzina. We just came back a few weeks ago and I got this...
Spiced Briami - Ovn Roasted Vegetables, Oregano, Mazithra Cheese served with Herbed Orzo - $19.99

It was a....mazing. I have been thinking of it daily since we left. yum. p.s.
I actually just looked up a recipe.. Im making it this week! :thumbsup2

My husband and our kiddos are going back in September and this is the reservation I cant wait to make.

For not a group dinner, but the best vegetarian menu on property try here. And since you are DVC, it would be well worth investing the $100 to get the Tables in Wonderland Dining Discount Card.

I think Tusker House has the best vegetarian options on property! It's a pretty restaurant and there is something for everyone!!:goodvibes

If you like animal watching, you might also consider Sanaa at AKV. They have wonderful vegetarian and meat options and you can request a window seat and watch the zebras and the giraffes outside while you dine!

I'm sure they can make you something at Flying Fish even if there isn't something on the menu. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the poatato/vegetable strudel I got at Corral Reef in November and then the other people could get seafood or whatever. Also, at LeCellier the vegetarian gnocci is really good.

Most restaurants should accomodate you and you can also have them note it on your reservation when you make it.
