Vegas with a toddler

Oh, and the only reason I'd do a week is because the only decent airfare is Wednesday-Wednesday - all the other days are too expensive.
Well that bites. Have you travelled with your son before? Because honestly, a week is a really long time to be away from home. For both you and him. The iniquities of Las Vegas aside, I can see where you'd be tempted to spend a few days there. At the pool, if anything. But a week is a lot. And if you run out of things to do, you're stuck. Maybe check the airline and see what the policy is on flying standby if you want to leave early. But if it were me, I wouldn't go for a whole 7 days.

1. Don't let the tyke gamble.
2. Don't put him up as collateral so YOU can gamble! :teeth:

Sounds like you have put alot of thought into it and you wouldn't be stuck on the strip. If you go... hope you have a great time. You have to give us a trip report when you return.

Nah, he's a traveller - six round trip flights under his belt already, and all but one to the East Coast. We did four days in Disneyland when he was only six months old. :teeth:

How much do you think I could get for him? ;)

We took our DD to Vegas for a family reunion when she was almost 4. We had a great time and she was oblivious to billboards etc. We stayed at the Flamingo which has a wonderful pool complex. During the day mostly we were at the pool. We'd usually go out early in the morning to walk around and get breakfast (Krispy Kreme at the Excalibur was a favorite). We'd go out again in the early evening (the Belliago fountains were a big hit). We stuck to DD's normal 8pm bedtime so we were safely in our hotel room before to real action got started.

Our 12 yo nephew was also part of our group and we were all more concerned about what he'd see then we were about the little ones.

BTW, we were there for 5 nights.
