Vegas car rental

Hi,
My mother daughter and I are going to Las Vegas for the first time in August. We will be staying off the strip and will be renting a car. Does anyone have any good car rental suggestions or codes? Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

We'll be there from August 10th to the 17th. So a week long coupon would be nice but anything would be appreciated. I've tried some of the codes that have worked for Orlando but they were not recognized for Vegas rentals.

Best thing I see right now is dollarcar.com with promo code 610.

I've rented from them before, their counter at the airport is a little crowded, and they do try to talk you into upgrading to a bigger car for more money....but otherwise I had no problems.

I got the best rate on dollar rent a car for 3 days, $86.00 that was without coupons or codes. Good luck in your search, some of the car rental places were well over $150 .

Have you tried priceline yet. I've won cars for as little as $11.00 a day. They usually are around $14.00 a day here in Vegas. You might want to check hotwire also.
