OK, let me explain that title. DS is allergic to milk and has a rare metabolic disorder that causes him to go into ketoacidosis when he consumes too much protein. Basically all animal proteins cause this result (surprisingly, he does OK with eggs). So, he eats a largely vegan diet.
We are planning to go to DL in July and DS will be 23 months. I am seeing plenty of fruit that he will be able to eat. We can share our steamed veggies if we eat TS. Is soy milk readily available or should we bring our own? When we eat out at home, we either go places with beans or we let him eat bread or pasta and veggies at the restaurant and supplement at home. However, I am not seeing many beans on the DL menu and I can't imagine how I could bring beans or eggs to the park. All of the toddler meals seem to involve cheese.
Does anyone have any ideas for good locations to find him food?
