BTW, I went through the same exercise before buying VGC. I estimated a 6-year break-even assuming I threw away the points at the break-even point. I was off by 5 1/2 years -- we bought pre-covid. I could make >$25k if I sold my points today. Past performance does not guarantee future results...

And VDH isn’t the same product as VGC
 

Since you are including the ToT and parking in your DVC room, you need to include the 17% tax and parking to your cash room.
Nice! Can’t believe I forgot to put those back in. Will do the calcs again the morning. Those, plus some incentives, plus adjustments for inflation, and maybe, just maybe, we edge closer to 10 years.

Again, I’m just looking for a reason…
 
Reports on the other thread here say a guide said that members won’t pay for parking as usual.

I never really got where the whole parking conversation stemmed from and didn’t put much merit to it.

The bottom of the point chart had said that owners may have to pay for it.

But, sounds like the decision was confirmed now it will be included.
