we have a 2bedroom unit at VERo the last week of March and have been greatly anticipating the relaxed atmosphere. we have not been since the hurricanes hit the resort years ago. I have read some threads that Vero has a problem with mold. My DS & I are highly allergic to mold--it triggers severe asthma attacks. Has anyone been to Vero lately? we there visible mod? did every room have a dehumidifier? I am tempted to call the resort and talk with the manager about this. I loved the resort when we went last time but it was prior to those darn hurricanes.

We've only stayed in studios an inn rooms and everyone has had a dehumidifier. I don't know how many units there would be in a 2 bedroom. Yes, why don't you call VB to hear what they have to say. I would if mold is a severe problem for my family. We own a home at the Jersey shore, and mold/humidity there doesn't compare to the conditions they're up against at VB.

I would call and get the information straight from the manager. My guess from reading trip reports is that all the rooms have dehumidifiers but we have not been in two years for any current first hand info.
