VB music (inspired by OKW music thread)

Okay, for all the DVCers that hang at the VB pool...Is anyone else sick of the same 6 or 7 Beach Boys songs being played hour after hour, day after day?

I appreciate a good beach theme, but there must be other good beach music. I was going absolutely nuts listening to the same songs over and over.

Does anyone have any ideas for some new tunes at VB?

I love the Beach Boys music!!!!
We were at Vero this summer and it wasn't being played and I really missed it.
Would agree that there are many more then 6-7 songs that could be in the repertoire though.

trainfun, don't get me wrong....I like The Beach Boys Tunes. I just need a little variety after several hours at the pool.

They had Holiday music playing today throughout for a change.
(was only there in the early AM for breakfast).The resort looked deserted, but I did see 10 towels reserved on pool chairs and no one in sight.

We stayed at Vero Beach about 18 months ago and could not agree more. . . even though the Beach Boys are closer to our generation (we are a late 30 and early 40-something), the soundtrack at BoardWalk is barely completed twice in a 1 week stay - and we listened to each Beach Boys song at least 3 times a day! I realize that people spend more time at the pool at Vero than at the resorts at WDW - however, maybe they could just factor in some more summer-type songs? I'm sure they do Jimmy Buffet at OKW - but that might work here too? Also maybe Huey Lewis - Sheryl Crow - even some Bob Marley or just some regee(sp)? Just a couple of suggestions.

They do need to get some new music-we were there in Oct 2000, Mar 2002 and Oct 2002 and I believe it was the same every time.

There's a ton of beach themed songs out there to choose from

We are going again in April-we'll let you know if they change it.

Can't wait to go back!

We love Vero Beach-I wish we could live there but we are stuck in Michigan
