VB - chance of getting for Thanksgiving at 7 mo. window???

First of all, let me say that I'm not interested in renting/buying points, as I have plenty of my own. Here's my question....do I have any chance of obtaining a 2 br. for Thanksgiving night and the Friday after? We already have reserv. at BWV, but thought we might try to begin our trip there for two nights so that DH could do some fishing. Any thoughts?

My guess is that your chances would be pretty good. Lots of people from these boards go to WDW, and there are a few of us "HHI for Thanksgiving" types. Occassionally I see questions about what's done at HHI to celebrate the holiday, but in several years, I've never seen anyone ask about Thanksgiving at Vero Beach (that is, until you asked). So it doesn't seem like it's too busy there at Thanksgiving. Good luck, hope you get your ressie.
