VB at Thanksgiving?

Has anyone spent their Thanksgiving holiday at VB? If so, would you recommend it? We're in the process of buying DVC and are considering Thanksgiving at VB and the week after Thanksgiving at WDW (VWL, our home resort). Thanks in advance for any advice/opinions.
