Just a curiosity question for DCL cruisers who have done both European- and American-based cruises. After watching some Mighty Cruise Ship re-runs, DW and I are wondering whether the differences in food suppliers at the various ports affects the ship food flavors? I don't mean changes in menu offerings but food taste in general. Yeah, I guess a carrot tastes like a carrot anywhere but I do know a lot of produce and dairy (or even meat) does end up with different tastes based on where something is grown or what was fed to an animal.
All that said, has anyone who has had experience with both types of cruises noticed any real difference? Just thinking out loud here.
