Vans skatepark near DLR?

I heard there's a Vans skatepark near DL in the Block at Orange mall. How far is that from DL?

Also has any So.Cal locals been there? I want to take my brothers ,who skate, there one afternoon while taking a break from DL. Is it worth the time?

It's about a 5-minute ride down the freeway. I'm not sure of the exact address. We were just there a couple of weeks ago--not to skate, but we watched the kids skating for a few minutes. It was pretty busy and very big. So if he's really into skateboarding, I'd say it's worth a trip.

Is it an indoor or outdoor park? My DS can't wait to board in the "Skateboarding Capitol of the World". We are spending a week in Palm Springs before we head up to Disney for a four day week-end.

It is indoors & if I remember correctly they had something outside too. They have a big observation deck so you can watch what is going on. It is similar to the one in Florida. It is about 5 minutes from Disneyland.

Every time we go to Orlando my DS insists on a few hours at the Vans skate park. Last year we had to go three times! Do you know if I get him a Vans gift card for his Easter basket can he use it for admission to the skate park?
