Vanguard Airlines declares bankruptcy

Vanguard airlines is holding news conference today supposedly to declare Chapter 11. Though they could still make it through refinancing, I decided to check my options on Southwest, and much to my surprise they had Internet Fare Sale going on where I purchased four non-stop tickets from Kansas City to Orlando for $500. That may seem like a deal, but add the $750 I paid already for Vanguard tickets (that I probably will never see), it becomes rather pricey. I bought the tickets for insurance, if Vanguard makes it I will use Southwest tickets for future travel, if they don't make it, I at least will still make my trip. Has anyone dealt with ticket crediting with a company that declares Chaper 11??
