Anybody know about the quality and how they hold up.

We just bought some at another department store (not a well known national name brand) that look really nice... They are 60/40 Cotton Poly.
Seem very nice, smooth fabric.

Now I see some nice Van Heusen polos on sale at the Outlet.
They are the smooth 100% cotton. (not the slightly rougher weave)

I wonder if the Poly in the first ones might be a plus for shape and longevity... But Van Heusen is supposed to be good, right...

Which would you go with for your husband and son!!!

We bought two Van Heusen polo shirts at Kohl's a couple of weeks ago for my husband. They were also a 60/40 blend, and they were super soft. However, the first time he wore each shirt, the material snagged on the front. (There was no reason for them to snag. He wore one shirt to dinner one night and wore the other to Costco the next day.)

I was really disappointed in them, because the colors were nice, and they seemed to be of good quality. We ended up returning them to Kohl's.

It's my preferred husband's shirt. They're at the bottom end of 'high end' shirts, but way above most shirts on the market. A good mix between a quality shirt and price. Cut, fabric and fit are all pretty good

My DH has a few from years ago. They are fine, especially since I probably paid $10-12 for them at an outlet.

I can't speak to the polos, but Van Heusen was a premium brand last time I needed to buy dress shirts. Still wearing them 25 years later, so the quality then was top notch. Not sure if the quality has changed since then.

I'm wear one right now to work. I used to wear Kohl's, but the collar never really hold up. I've had Van Heusens for a year or so, and they all are going good. I recommend against the black one though, for some reason it gets dirty very quickly, that I don't see in any other color. I use my Kohl's or Perry Ellis for that color.
