I am will be using my DVC forthe 1st time and splitting a 2 week visit between 3 villas and 5 different rooms.
My question is I was going to try Jambo house and Kidani village so I would like to know opinions on that if its worth it to try both or should I just do Kidani?
I also am trying to find out in Jambo what is the difference between a value room and a standard?

The value rooms at Jambo House are smaller in size then the standard and savanna view rooms.

One very wonderful thing about a value room is that it may be savannah view. We've been very lucky, 4 value room stays, and 2 of them have been savannah view, 2 pool view. Still, if I had a longer stay, I don't know if I would take a chance. The third option is the parking lot, and someone must get those too.

yea but if it is a dedicated studio (not lock off) value - it will be savannah or pool.

lock off could be anything

about how much smaller is the value to the standard is it like a value resort room

It's 3 ft. shorter in length. It still has the queen bed and pull out sofa. The queen bed is next to the sliding glass door, whereas in the standard and other studios at AKV, the sofa is next to the sliding glass door.

I don't compare it to a value resort room at all. You still have the kitchenette and double sinks across from the kitchenette. Since ours was dedicated we did have a closet. In the lock-off value studios, there isn't a closet, just the free standing armoire.

I do not think that DVC distinguishes on the reservation any more between a lock off and dedicated value studio. Ours did not say "dedicated" on the reservation and when we had one in the past, it did say that.
