Value to SSR/OKW upgrade -- When?

I've been away from the boards for a few days. I see a number of people talking about the e-mail offering an upgrade from a value resort to SSR and/or OKW. What is the time frame for those trips people are getting the upgrade offer for? Labor day on? Anything in August? We're at POP from 8/18 through 8/25 . . .

It is Aug. 26-Sept 1. Checkin within those dates. Not everyone got the email. Seems to be random. But the actually code is attached to folks' names when they call to upgrade.

That is correct. I was at ASMU 8/26 - 9/3. I was upgraded to a Studio at SSR. I did not receive the email, but when I called to check on it I did have the offer on my ressie. 8/26 is the first day of free dining and apparently the values are over booked.

Thanks. You'll love SSR. We stayed there last July as part of another promotion (upgraded from a moderate) and really enjoyed it. It would have been fun to be part of a promotion this year, but we're a week too early!
