Value Season?

the new disneyland AAA book i got today has value season 4/23/06-6/29/06.
we will be taking our first trip to disneyland june 17-25.
will it really be less crowded this time of the year?
we have gone many times to disneyworld and when its value season there, it usually is a lot less crowded.
also at different weather sites, it has june around 78 degrees is that accurate?

I'm sure it will be crowded since most schools get out the second week of june but it probably won't be as crowded as it would be in say july. Especially with the 50th I imagine the summer will be alot more crowded this year since it will be the last summer of the celebration!

I would think it would be crowded in the summer but since this is our first trip to disneyland i was surprised to see it listed as value season. We will be staying for 8 nights so we will have plenty of time to see everything even if it is crowded.
If anyone has stayed at paradise pier before i would like to hear comments about it,also what is the quickest way to enter the parks from there? Is there a tram car, or monorail, and how far is the walk?
