Hey all,

For some reason when trying to book dates dec 2-17 through disney website at WL, the cheapest we are getting is 265 a night (base courtyard) when the value season rate is clearly 225 stated by the seasonal rates.....

Any ideas?...

Oh and this is just for "budgeting" we always use the fl resident rate anyways...

Thanks guys!!

Thanks!!

hmmm... I wonder if they are all booked in standard or they don't offer it on the web...

As far as I know, they usually offer what they have online. My guess is that the standard view rooms are already gone.

I would call and check also. At times we have checked online and no availability and call and find a room. It's worth the try!

We got a PIN code back in the early spring and when I tried to book WL for the second week in Dec. they only had Courtyard views available. At the time I thought they were just not going to let me get a discount on a standard room but maybe they really are all booked up.:confused3

We tried to get a standard view WL room about a month ago for Dec 5-10 (or any stretch of days therein) and all that was available was Club level concierge. Courtyard is an improvement. :)

Thanks!!

Your assumption is correct in regards to them being sold out. Alot of us who visit often have learned that in order to get a Standard-view room you have to book several months in advance (i.e. 1 year or so in advance). This is what I do for my family to ensure I get a standard view room and pay it off months before the trip. We have, so far, always been upgraded from standard view to Savanna view room at no charge. :thumbsup2

If/when a code comes out, depending on how much of the lodge is booked for your dates, you may be able to still get a standard view room but you're gonna have to check back. The closer you get to the trip the more likely someone is to cancel and you can then snag up that room. You gotta be diligent in checking as often as you possibly can. Do not use the website for reference but rather call CRO to check availability for you. The online system is notorious for providing inaccurate or non up-to-date information.

I believe the OP was talking about wilderness lodge, not the animal kingdom lodge
