When I try out reservations on the Disney website, I see it says $77-$137 for the value resorts. So why is it that when I try dates in the value season, I can never get the rate to $77? I have tried August and early December. Any insight? I am thinking about a return trip in August or December 07 after my March trip and I'd like to plan this next one for Value season and stay longer.

Not sure about early December, but most of August for 2006 is regular season, not value season. Maybe it's because you're checking for 2007 rates?

2006 Value Resort Seasons:
Value Season: January 1 - February 15, August 27 - October 4, November 26 - December 19
Regular Season: April 23 - August 26, October 5 - November 25
Peak Season: February 16 - April 22
Holiday Season: December 20 - December 31

Just wondering why Pop and All Stars have different tax rates???

I never knew that!

Okay, so its the TAX! I am looking for 07, but looking at the 06 prices just for a guideline. And if you start your stay in value, does the whole trip get priced at value?

Join AAA....stay during value season.....DH and I are AAA members and went last September....stayed for less than $77 a night!!!! :thumbsup2

Yep! Although if your trip starts in peak or regular and ends in value you would need to do two sep reservations to take advantage of the discount.

I have AAA, and I think its 20% off rooms during value season, so that would be 20% off $77, which is $61.60, plus 11% tax, which is 6.78, total $68.38 a night! Man I hope the rates don't go up much next year. It would be fun to go right before Christmas. For five nights, $308 ain't too bad!

Dont forget as well that if you are pricing all star movies resort, it defaults to pricing a Preferred room.
