Value Resorts

"Value" is really a misleading term for Disney to use IMO.

You do not get "Value" level Cast Members working there.

You do not get "Value" level landscaping.

You do not get "Value" level Disney attention to detail.

You do not get "Value" level Housekeeping.

Etc..etc.

At one time the Values were "denied" some amenities to "separate" them from the Mods and Luxes.

But that has changed-here are some things that have been added to the Values in recent years:

Fridges
Coffeemakers(already added to Pop Century and All-Star Movies and coming to Music and Sports)
Queen beds(already added to Pop Century and Movies and coming to Music and Sports)
55 inch TVs(already at Pop Century and Movies and coming to Music and Sports)
Pool Towels
Expanded Menu for Room Delivery
Full size hair Dryers
Yoga classes and Painting classes at select Value Resorts.

The "Values" are fun and beautiful and also they are definitely not "value priced " anymore!lol :)

I have read the queue for buses at Value resorts can be chaotic at peak times, but again we won't be using the transportation either.

There isn't any benefit to on-site guests for dining reservations, anyone can book at 180 day window regardless.

A few comments in your points above. I think you'll find the buses to be the opposite of what you say above. The value bus stops are actually quite organized with roped queue lines to snake you up to the bus for a first come first served feel. Whereas mods & deluxe can have no queue & a more 'rush on the bus' feel with slower or larger parties getting pushed out & possibly left behind even though being there first.

On site does allow dining at 180+ length of stay for a slight advantage, but is no different for level of stay, which the OP is trying to determine.

As you can see from my signature, we stay at all levels. We bought DVC out of our love of the deluxes. But after many moderate and deluxe stays, spent a week at all star music with a large family trip last year. We forgot How fun they were. The food courts have MUCH better selection than deluxes. We loved the nice orderly lines getting on the buses too. I have to say that it drives me crazy at the deluxes/ moderates that I can be sitting waiting for a bus for a half hour when a huge group walks up as the bus pulls up and jumps right in front of everyone. We actually just booked pop century with the same group of family for next fall. Now that we have AP’s and go twice per year we are planning on using DVC points once and doing value the second trip.

We love the Value resorts. Save tons of money and they are just great resorts. Nice food courts, rooms are great..pools are fun and we almost always stay at either Music or POP. All the years we have gone..no issues from us. We always use Disney Transport. And DME Almost always fly...so no need for a car.

Unless you are standing by the curb no one has jumped in line on front of you. Sitting at the bus stop doesn't give you first spot in the bus line.

I much prefer being able to sit at the bus stops than having to stand in yet another line, with no shade or cover. Which is what you get at the value resorts
