Disneyland Paris - Day 3
As we had had an early night the day before we were able to get up real early, had breakfast, packed the rest of our things and were out of our little villa by 8.30am! We both could not believe that we actually did it!!
Once we had stowed everything in the car, we dropped the keys in the keybox and off we went towards the Disneyland parking lot. We were surprise to see that there was NO line at that time and we just briefly stopped, showed our Annual Pass and off we went to find a spot to park our car. We were lucky enough to find one close to the walkway and started our trail towards the front entrance. We made it through bag check and into the park for Morning Extra Magic Hour.
It was by then around 9.30 and we headed for Peter Pans Flight, but we were stunned they already had quite a line and we did not fancy being in it. So we just walked around Fantasyland, as there is not much to do here on Extra Magic Hours, only Dumbo, Peter Pan and the Carousel are open. Closer to 10pm we headed to the far left of the roped off area and once the rope was dropped we headed over to Big Thunder Mountain, so we could maybe pick up a Fast Pass to ride before we had to leave by 11.30. There had already formed a line at the Fast Pass distribution, but it moved quickly so we got in it and picked up two Fast Passes, which were good for 11.15 pm. We could not have timed it any better. Since we had to wait for our Fast Pass to come around any way we wandered over to the Indiana Jones Ride.
It had a 5 minute wait posted, so there was no doubt this was the line to get into. Once we came to the top of the line we discovered that there was no line at all. So on we got and enjoyed the ride. And when we got off we got right in line again and rode a second time. After the second time we had a little time to kill before we could ride Big Thunder Mountain railroad, so we decided to check if the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue was already open. They were serving drinks from 11am on, so that was fine since we werent hungry anyway.
We were the first customer, had to wait a second until the cash registers were working and then ordered our drinks and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was nice to just sit and enjoy the cool air conditioned room.
