Many good points here. I love Pop...have stayed there many times. My favorite area is the 60's area, bldg 4, facing the lake. It's a standard view, but the walk isn't bad to the food court/transportation. I just returned from a stay there...I was in the 80's section, bldg 7, facing the lake/parking lot. It was incredibly quiet, but it was a bit of a hike to the food court. And don't get me started on ASMusic.....I've stayed in Jazz, before it became suites, and the last time I was in Country Fair...man, I'm not sure I was still on WDW property!!! The walk was awful! I'm 67, and do at least 17,000 steps a day at WDW, so a bit of walking isn't a huge deal for me. But, if you just want to run out and grab a coffee and some toast? Yeah, not happening! At least at the moderates I can have coffee in my room!!!
I would go with Pop in a preferred location. That will put them fairly close to the main areas. If not there, then POFQ.....I love PoR, it's my favorite non-DVC place to stay. But, man, it's spread out. Not as bad as CBR but it can be a long hike to breakfast!!!!
