We are staying at all star music.

It looks like the food court opens at 630am.

Do we have time to pick up a mobile order and get in line for the bus to catch the first bus? send family member who has scooter to get in line while kids and I grab the food?

It's our first trip needing the scooter full time so I am trying to plan a bit knowing busses can only handle 1-2 scooters. We like to eat on our way to the park....

What time does the park you are going to open for EE? Buses tend to start running approx 60 mins before EE but can start earlier. You can try this but there is no way to really know how long the line for scooters will be until you arrive. Also, you’re hoping there will not be a delay in your order being ready. As in most situations, we find it best to keep our party together to avoid being on separate buses.

Also, Disney has refitted most of their buses to take up to 4 scooters, which may make your bus access easier

First bus? Probably not. They usually run a bit earlier then advertised. An early enough bus? Probably, but if you don't want to chance it, then I agree with what others recommend and get some stuff you can eat in your room.

It will likely be too crowded to chow down on your breakfast bounty platters on the bus. lol.

I agree with others. Save yourself the time and stress and grab some baked goods/snacks the night before. Eat them in line at the bus or once you get to the park. Sometimes not all the hot food items are available right at 6:30am. so you might end up waiting.

And technically eating and drinking is not allowed. A granola bar? Sure you can probably get away with that. A plate of food? I wouldn't even suggest trying.
Maybe I should clarify by breakfast I mean pastries, coffee--- maybe a dry Mickey waffle.. I wasn't thinking we would be eating our full on breakfast lol !

Regardless of what type of food you have, eating and drinking is not permitted on Disney buses. If you have breakfast remaining when you board the bus, please wrap it and wait until you reach your destination before you continue to consume your food or drinks.

Updated information below shows this information is no longer current.

Had no idea. Seriously. Been on lots of Disney busses. Usually with a snack. Now I know!

Thanks for the updated links. In the past eating and drinking on Disney transportation was identified as not allowed but it appears that has been removed from their website. Appreciate all who posted current information. Always learning. :)

~ Plan Disney has been well known to be inconsistent in giving correct information. They are not employees of Disney and often are only repeating what they have googled. Yes sometimes they are right, Yes sometimes they are wrong and Yes sometimes the same question gets completely different answers. In the end it really doesn't matter what they say because on the ground guest facing CMs have the final word. I get it we all use their posts when looking for info but it's to be taken lightly.

~ Unless I missed it the "Disney Do's and Don'ts" doesn't say you can eat and drink on buses. Just like it doesn't say you can't eat and drink on the rides but we all know that is a rule and you will be stopped by CMs telling you so. Disney has LOTS of rules that are not published.

~ It has pretty much been a "rule" for as long as I can remember that you are not to eat or drink on the bus. You are allowed to bring a closed food or drink on the bus but not to consume. In my 7 trips this year (all but one we used Disney buses from our resort) I saw numerous bus drivers tell guest to put the lid, cap or whatever on their drinks and saw them not allow a guest on until they threw away their drink cup from the food court. Bus drivers will have the final word.

~ I think it's common sense that we don't need dropped food or crumbs, spilled drinks on other guests, on the seats or on the floors ... and it is best to finish all food before getting on the bus.

Wow../ so I totally did not mean for this to start a thing... lol!

I can assure you all my family will not and has never taken full on meals and open container drinks on a Disney bus. Coffee in a resort mug and a few bites of the croissant? Sure.

Also- I was more thinking we would eat while waiting for the bus thus why I asked if we would have time if we picked up our order right 630ish. Our EE that day is 830am.

It's amazing what we can run with around here

I think you'll be fine with 2 hours before EE, but don't count on being on the first bus though. Disney updates park hours closer in so keep an eye on that as it might change depending on the park.

Well....this thread answered my question about breakfast on the go. I assume this also goes for the boat transport from WL to MK. That's the only day we'll really be in a rush. I just want to make sure the 2 year old eats and I can't imagine anyone is going to care about a granola bar or yogurt pouch but I understand the rule and will do our best to abide by it. This kid can down a pouch in 30 seconds flat so the walk from the villa to the boat might be all we need haha.
