Value 2 bedroom at Jambo?

I've noticed that someone here had the parking lot view and also noisy value 2 bedroom at Jambo. I've booked value studios and 1 bedrooms at least 7 times and have not had the parking lot view. I'm just wondering if anyone has booked a value 2 bedroom and has NOT gotten the parking lot view.

I have a value 2 bedroom booked for next September. If having a 2 bedroom value increases the likelihood of getting the parking lot view, I'll change to Kidani 1 bedroom, standard and know I'm getting a parking lot view, but with nicer accomodations as far as the master bath and extra bath for my friends.

OK, thanks, I see them. Those value 2 bedrooms even cost less than the standard view 1 bedrooms in Kidani, and I just don't feel like spending the extra points. However, of all my friends, I'm the one who will be spending more time at the resort. When I bought AKV, I firmly believed that I would always book savannah, but I haven't, and have still had wonderful stays. We're still in the priority booking time, so I think I have some time to decide.

If you have the option I would grab it now.. with it being less points than the 1BR you can always change later without losing any points in the process.

No, only the few that are smaller. They are in the front of the building, look at the link that is in the second post.

We just stayed in a value 2BR (October 15 - 22) and we had a savanna view.
Room numbers were 5130 and 5132.

We always book value at the 11 month window because the points difference is significant. In three visits, we have always received a savanna view value room.

If we are at the resort, we are usually sitting by the pool and really don't spend a lot of time in the room, so we don't mind taking whatever they give us. That being said, I always request savanna view when I am booking the room (knowing that it is just a request). Upon check-in, we will take whatever they give us. We have just been lucky so far.

We have two future stays booked in a value studio. If we end up getting a parking lot view maybe I will change my mind, but I think it is one of the best deals for your points.

Yes, I like so much about Jambo that I suppose the room view won't be as important as I'm worrying about now.

We were in the 1 bedroom part. Roll under sinks but still had a combo bath/shower. Sink was separate from the tub/shower and toilet. It has been a while but I believe the counter tops were lower. The second bedroom had a regular bathroom I do not believe 5012 the attached studio was HA. If I remember I will ask my sister who stayed in it.

Oh and we liked the pool view.

How much smaller are the 2 br values versus a regular 2 br? Which part is smaller, the 1 br part or the studio part, or both?? We have only stayed AKL 1 br concierge level for one night so, I am trying to figure out if I request value or not. We will have 4 adults and 2 teenage girls for 5 nights.

You lose 3 feet. In the one bedroom, I must say that it was a challenge to be in the bedroom and shut the door. It was that tight! In the studio, the bed is next to the sliding door. It would be tight to get by the sleeper sofa if it were opened. I've only been in a studio with DH, so we never used the sleeper sofa.

we stayed last year in a 2br Value (5130) and really enjoyed it. We requested a Savanna View and got it!

Just going off of memory here, but I think that there are (2br equivelant) 5 sv, 3 pool view, and 2 parking view.
