How do you keep valuables (credit cards, hotel card, cash, etc.) safe while you're in the park. We'll have a sling backpack, but no "hidden" pockets or anything. Any tips on how to carry small but important things? Thanks!

Try a fanny pack. Disney World sells them but you can get them at any luggage store. They hold all my passes, credit cards, room keys, car keys sunglasses and pins with extra room to spare. I have a small wallet purse that I can put in there and everything stays where it belongs. Very theft proof and they are hard to loose because they are clipped around your waist or hips.

Hope this helps...

I have a small camera case that has a zippered compartment on the outside exactly the right size for the room key, park pass, and ID. (I leave my credit card in the safe and charge back to the room with the room key, unless I'm at the Dolphin or Swan, where you can't). Obviously my camera and film fits in the case too. Then I carry a small purse about the same size as the camera case and that has money, sunglasses, and cell phone. Both get slung across my body so they're secure and yet they're so small they never get in the way. I keep the important stuff in the camera case because if someone was going to steal something, it would probably be the purse, and the stuff I really need is in the camera case. Although I very rarely take them off my body so hopefully I'll never have to worry about that!

The most secure method of carrying things like this would probably be one of those wallets you wear under your clothes. I use one in Europe for my passport and credit cards. At Disney I just leave some stuff in the safe and figure I can survive with that.

But I carry a fanny pack to keep other small things in. If I don't have the fanny pack, i put my hotel card in my front pocket. I never carry a purse. I have seen people with a plastic pouch that they wear around their neck that hold the hotel card and other flat small things.

I don't bring that much into the Parks. Room key, 1 credit card and some cash. Oh and my glasses for reading! :) I have a fanny pak that I picked up a long time ago that has a buildt in eyeglass case. So that's really convienent for me.

Everything else is in the safe back in the room.

On occasion.....if I think it's going to be a "picture perfect" day, I have this WDW Tote bag that I'll bring. It's big enough for a camera and bottles of water. But not that big where it's a pain. Plus it 's water repelant which helps on Splash Mountain! :)

You need to keep tickets easily accessible for Fast Passes. We have one person hold all of the tickets in a fanny pack.
Too much work getting them out of a backpack/purse.
