I might rent it. I crack up every time I see the `we have to kill hitler`advertisement. I also don't understand why they went with British actors...it's one thing to go accent neutral but to pick British and then a random American. It all looks distracting lol.

Valkryie was GREAT. This weekend ,possibly Sun. I intend to see Gran Torino.

I liked Valkryie

Not the greatest movie , I ever saw, but not the worst.
Story & acting was great.....The direction...not so good.
The tense parts should have been more tense, the sad parts more sad.

However since i never knew about the German Resistance to the Nazis during WW2, prior to this movie...I will forgive the bad direction.

Yeah, I mean *really*. Would that person have said "we have to kill *Hitler*"?!? Would he have referred to the man by his last name only? It sounded to me like a modern-day anachronism.

And I knew about the plot to kill Hitler years ago - the moviemakers act like it's something they discovered.

PS - The father of the model Verushcka (She was one of the first supermodels, from the '60s) was a Prussian officer involved in the plot.
