Valid Passport?

OK, I'm pretty sure my passport fits within the rules but I'd like someone else to reassure me.

Here is the guideline I think I fall into

"Machine-readable passports issued or renewed/extended between 10/26/05 and 10/25/06: passports must have digital photographs printed on the data page or integrated chips with information from the data page"

My passport is:-
machine readable
Pretty sure the photo is digital (on page not cover of passort)
No chip
Issued April 2006

Am I OK?

I take it your picture is a scanned in digital picture and not the passport sized photo stuck on and laminated over? If it is the former then you are fine, although I am sure the UK Passport office have always complied with the US requirements.

I think it's a scanned in photo, it still feels a bit lumpy but not like my previous passport which looked like the photo had just been stuck onto the inside back cover.

I know my passport is machine readable - it's the photo I'm only 99.9% sure about.

According to UK passport office website all passports since 1998 have digital photos.

Thanks. I'm happier now. But won't be really happy until I'm through immigration in 74 days time - why do I always feel so nervous when I know there's no reason to stop me entering?
