Valet Parking with a Handicapped tag

I learned something new today! Thank you so much for the info!

When pulling up for valet with a handicapped tag, do you have to tell them specifically that you're there b/c of the tag? Or do they just know? Do you tell them to park it in the handicapped lot? We've never used valet before..

I wish I knew this last year when we visited the Boardwalk. Handicapped lot was around the corner, over the bridge, around the check in area...quite a ways!

There's no need for them to park the car in the handicapped lot. They park the car for you when you arrive and bring it back when you leave.

Swolphin charges full valet rate for handicapped even if you're only there for an hour for breakfast. With tips going and coming, it almost doubles the cost of the meal. It wasn't worth it. I'll take my business to a Disney venue. Even Self parking costs $9.00 and it's a HIKE to the hotel.

This is really useful to know. We have never visited a Disney hotel before (we always stay off site in a villa) but this trip we will be going to AKL and Grand Floridian so it will be really helpful.

Although legally your Blue Badge is not accepted in the United States, Disney, and the surrounding jurisdictions, will accept the Blue Badge in lieu of a disabled plate or hang tag. So just be sure to bring it with you.
