Valet Parking Question

Quick question.

My parents are DVC members also and are currently staying at Saratoga Springs. They thought valet parking was free for DVC members but my dad had to pay. He asked a CM and they told him that as of August 1st there is no longer free valet parking. Is this really true? I don't remember seeing an announcement or anything about this.

It's free for DVC members parking at: BW, WL, AKL, BC, Contemporary. Not the other WDW resorts. Which resort was he at?

He is at SSR. Maybe they don't offer valet?

There is no valet parking at SSR or OKW.

Not sure where at SSR you would use valet parking, unless the golf course or Turf club offer it? Niether of theses would fall under the free valet parking members receive. Does AKV fall under AKL not that I use it anyway, I like having my keys with me.

Yes, members get free valet parking at AKL.
