Valet parking...how long

for them to bring up your car when you are ready to leave?

I see preferred parking is only a "few dollars" more than regular..any idea what the specific cost is?

I don't know about preferred parking because we have always used the valet...tried it once and was sold on it. We have usually left the parks a bit before closing time, and we have never encountered a backup at the valet parking. The longest we've waited for our vehicle was five minutes, and often less. After a day of walking the parks, with the kids tired, we really appreciated the shorter walk to the valet location and the quickness of their retrieval service.

Next time, we are staying onsite at RPR, but if we were driving from a Disney hotel, as we have done in the past, I would not park anywhere but at the valet. Well worth the few extra dollars.

Preferred gets you in a closer garage than the regular parking, depending on how busy it is I don't see it as much of a benefit.

We love the valet parking and with the AP discount it is very reasonable. It usually does not take long for them to bring your car but if it was really busy I think we may have waited 15 minutes or so. Definitely worth it after a really long day at the parks.

Well...not really. Preferred parking is on the third level so the only thing it saves is going up/down on the escalators...it's doesn't get you physically closer than regular parking.

1) the time it takes vary on when you leave and what's going on.
leave the parks before both close and its less then 10 minutes
after Park closing 20-30 minutes
after Mardi Gras concert almost an hour


2) you pay when you pick up the car, only one window takes CC, and unless it's really crowded, it is only the one open, if they open the 2nd window its Cash only

3) directions to valet parking would depend on where you are coming from
if coming from Turkey Lake, instead of going straght at the light that lead into the parking structure, make a left, then make a left at the next light
if coming from I4, stay in the left lane, once you pass the general parking stoplight it will be the first one on your left.

there is a 3rd direction, that you would make a right but have never driven that way.

what do you guys tip the valet?

Yup, I want to know too. I have the premier pass but I have never used valet parking out of the fear of not knowing what to tip plus my car is always disgustingly dirty so I'm embarrassed. Since its free though I would like to use it.
