Valet parking-good at ALL resorts?

I'm staying at AKL,valet parking...I get my car and drive to Boardwalk..do I just "toss them " my keys and the valet works there also??(I'm asking specifically for this as it is in the Vacation Club and not a WDW resort,right?)

It is a WDW resort and yes you can just valet at the resort if you want. Also remember if you paid for the valet at the AKL you should have a tag on the window and they will not charge you again at the Boardwalk. The charge is $6 a day and if another resort has already charged you they are not supposed to twice.

As far as I know, only the deluxe hotels (AKL, BC, YC, BWI, GF, Poly, CR, WL) and some HAFH resorts (BWV, VWL, BCV) offer valet parking.

Tipping is appropriate (and appreciated), even when you have already paid the $6 for the day.

Thanks all! I didn't realize it was only at the Deluxe Hotels....and I do know about tipping-which we do when retrieving the car-right?

I think it is worth the 6 dollar a day fee plus the tip. Those parking lots are really far from the front door and in that heat and walking all day you just wanna get droped off at the door.
