Valet parking charge?

We will be staying at All-Star Music, but dining at AKL and GF. Will the restaurants validate my valet ticket, or do I just put the charge on my KTTW? How much is the charge?

I know the GF lot is far away.

Valet parking is --I think--now $12.00. maybe 10, but I think it went up.
Only V&A will validate your valet parking. So far as I know, none of the other restaurants at GF or AKL will do so.

Most likely they will scan your parking permit and the charge will go on your room bill. It is $12 which is just the price of the valet parking, then you need to add the tip to the driver(s). If you notice your parking pass will have a barcode on it. We found out the hard way because we got the charge on our room at Pop after eating at Narcoossees, however, will showed them our TiW card and receipt and they "said" it was not charged, but it was and we had the front desk remove it.

The only way the valet parking is free is if you have a TiW card and dining at the restraurants-- as mentioned you will need to show the TiW card and receipt. And DVC members get free valet parking at DVC resorts too. (of course, tip is extra and expected, even if it is free.)

The same thing happened to us last October at Wilderness Lodge. They scanned our parking pass. We have a handicapped tag and valet is supposed to be free and we also have Tables in Wonderland and were eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

Upon checkout, I noticed there was a charge for valet at Wilderness Lodge and called their billing office on the way home and the charge was credited back.
