Valet Parking at the Contemporary???

We are staying at the Hilton at DTD, so we have access to EMH for our two MK days. I've heard/read that transportation to the MK won't start from the TTC until closer to regular park opening times. For a variety of logistical reasons, we feel the need to drive. Has anyone tried the valet parking at the Contemporary? I realize there are shuttle buses from DTD, but we just need advice on the valet parking possibilities at the Contemporary. Thanks!!!

They actually don't run buses from DTD straight to the parks.

Valet parking at CR sounds like a good alternative.

But, the MK bus (from the Hilton) terminates at TTC… and THAT's the presenting problem of the question.

If you pay to valet park at the Contemporary you can stay there all day.

Yes, you can do that, except during extremely busy weeks when even the valet lot would be restricted. Most of the time, no problem.

If so, it still stops at TTC.

But I guess that maybe it would be inaccessible? You might be able to walk to Poly then.

Yup. That's the differentiation that needs to be noted.

But, during AM EMH, there should be very few other guests trying to valet park.
That early, the OP should have a good chance of getting in.

I'm glad you mentioned that. The resort monorail stops at the TTC under all but the most unusual of circumstances. Disney knows EMH guests from Shades of Green and the Hilton have to go through the TTC. I'm sure they make the appropriate provisions.

Yup.
That can certainly happen.
They plan on resort guests riding the buses to MK EMH.

Thought of that as soon as I typed it. I would guess that there is some crowd management taking place in anticipation of the regular opening time that would prohibit boarding the resort monorail at the TTC.

I've read here that at TTC Monorails and the Ferry are often not running for AM EMH, though. As far as Disney making appropriate provisions for TTC arrivals on AM EMH I've heard it's not-so-much.

So non-guests can park at Contemporary as long as they're paying for valet? That's acceptable?

I think going to the Poly to get the monorail has to be allowed then (maybe you have to show your keycard), no? I mean, these guests are entitled to EMH and Disney needs to let them in somehow

Yes, we are going next week which will be a busy time. BUT EMH are at 7 am. So, if I can sum up what you are all saying:

1. I can valet park at the Contemporary all day as long as I get there before the lot is full.
2. I can *chance* parking at MK and riding the monorail, but there is a possibility it will not stop at TTC.
3. I could always park at the MK parking lot and walk over to the Polynesian and take the resort monorail.

Honestly, since I have to pay to park anyway, an extra three dollars at the Contemporary sounds like a good investment to avoid the uncertainty of the monorail and TTC. THANKS!
