Valet laundry?

Has anyone let the resort do laundry for them? Trying to get an idea of turnaround time and cost.

A couple of times out of desperation, but I prefer to do it myself to save money. Usually I can throw in a couple of loads while the kids are swimming. Shirts can cost about $6 each and pants about $6.50. Socks and underwear can run you $1.50 to $2.00 each. Not cheap!

Thanks for the reply. I'm spoiled rotten by hubby but those prices won't work for our ratty park clothes! I usually do laundry but haven't really budgeted enough pool/laundry time into the trip. Guess we won't be packing super-light like we usually do.

I've often found myself down at guest laundry in the wee hours trying to do a quick load, moms never get a break!!!

I run on pure adrenaline and delicious adult beverages while at WDW so I'm sure I can sneak in some laundry time. Didn't even consider the night owl hours, so used to multi-tasking while swimming. That's the Disney way!

At least the new machines they're putting in will text you when your cycle is done. You can also check a web site/app to see if machines are available:

I recently stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in Richmond for work for 2 weeks. Since we were gone for over 5 days, the company would pay for laundry. My coworker and I looked at the prices, they wanted $9.50 for a pair of pants! We decided that was crazy. We went over to the CVS across the street and bought a small bottle of Tide and used the hotel laundry room on Sunday afternoon, $2 a load each for washer and dryer.
