For our MK days, we will have breakfast at Contemporary. My family member who’s traveling with us has anxiety about both boats and the monorail and would prefer to walk to MK. We are staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge DVC and have a rental car. If we were to pay the valet fee at Contemporary, could we leave it there after breakfast and walk over to MK for the day? Are there any time limits? Thanks so much in advance!

Great! Is it available 24/7?
Yes, but, um, exactly how long are you planning to spend in the MK/Contemporary area.

You could always just bus from AKL to MK, then walk to and back from breakfast (saves $33+tip).

Also, just for general information, boat doesn't come into play.

From the other posts, sounds like if you paid valet you'd have no problem parking for the day. Also, once you've paid valet at one resort you can use valet at other resorts that day for free with your ticket.

Our experience during the last couple Deluxe stays with a rental car (already paid $25 daily fee there), it seems like other resorts aren't as concerned about us parking in their lot?

Years ago before the resort parking fee, security would sometimes ask us more questions. Now when we pull up and say we're eating or whatever, they only ask if we we're staying at a resort. They check our MB, tell us where we can park (for free) and wave us through.

It may all depend on when you are going. I have seen people turned away from valet parking if they weren't guests of the resort. I hope that won't happen to you.

Yes, it will be fine to valet, unless parking is packed then there is a slight chance you will be turned away, but normally you should be okay. I would not try and just park (for free), just because some folks think it's okay, it's still against the rules.
