I will be in WDW this Valentine's Day at the MK. We have fairly early dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's and plan to go back to MK for parade and wishes. My question is does Disney do anything special for Valentine's Day? On the back of the 2004 Birnbaum's book there is a picture of Mickey holding what appears to be cards with little hearts in the corner. It would be so cool to get a Valentine card from Mickey and give him one too!!

Any info much appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Not that I've ever seen. We're usually in WDW for Vday, but I don't remember seeing anything special. Maybe someone else has. Anyone??

We were at WDW for Valentines Day 2002, at Disney MGM Studios and nothing special was advertised that I remember (but I bought my wife the special Valentines day pin.) However, we did swing by Radio Disney at Disney MGM and wish BeBe Good a happy birthday, she was very pleased and receptive. :wave2:

Just checked my email and rec'd this info. It comes from allearsnet.com, a website dedicated to Disney info and specials.

Olivia's Cafe at Disney's Old Key West Resort will offer a Valentine's Day Dinner 5-10 p.m. on February 14. The special Valentine's dinner for two is priced at $49.99. The regular menu will also be available.

We were in WDW for Valentines in 2002 & 2003. Nothing special going on that we saw.

We've been in the parks for two V days and never noticed anything special. In Feb '98 we enjoyed the character breakfast at Cape May on Valentine's Day. There were sweet valentine decorations (like cherubs and hearts) and maybe balloons?! Also, there were pastries with pink icing. This Feb. 14th will be our third at WDW. Before the trips I address valentines to our kids and sign them from the characters. I leave them by the room door for the kids to discover on Valentine's day morning. That way it looks like a sneaky mouse may have slid them under the door!
Enjoy your trip!
