What is the best Villas outside of DVC.?

Looking to stay outside disney concidering Marriott or Westgate

travelling with wife 13 yo,5,yo and 2 yo

I'm booking with www.closesttodisney.com . We've chosen a 3 BR villa in Windsor palms for only $64 plus tax per nt. I've read wonderful reviews on the Windsor, and the villas are well equipped.

I will post more about this on another thread, but if you are looking at Westgate vacation villas, you should know that this is not a luxury villa. They may say they are, and it's not a dump or anything--though some on this board would disagree with me--but it is not up to the standards of the competition. I'd be surprised if they have a lot of repeat business.

Again, not a terrible place to stay but very far from the best that is out there!

I;d look into Marriot Vacation Villas or Sheraton's Vistana. Much higher quality. If you'd like to give more details of what you are looking for, I'm sure people would be happy to share their advice.

I almost booked at westgete .I was lured into it by a low rate.
I thanks to these boards I have reconcidered.
It looks great on the internet but .I DO NOT WANT to be pestered to buy timeshare.I have DVC and that is all I want.

We are looking for a place simular in layout to dvc.I am only thinking of doing this to save some friday and sat points.points.

We are traveling with my wife and I.A 13 yo girl ,5,yo boy,and 2 yo girl.The days we stay outside of dvc may be spent relaxing around Pool.

I am now concidering the Marriott but can't decide on delixe room or villa.

I should add that it is four minutes from AK and has a pool.

We were never approached about a timeshare ownership at Westgate. the big tip we came up with several years ago is when staying in a timeshare property--DO NOT answer the phone! Anybody calling me will call my cell phone, so if the villa phone rings, we don't answer and ignore the voicemails.

We have booked a 3 bdrm/3bathroom Villa at Cypress Pointe, because we loved it so much there last spring. You might want to vist their website and check it out.

I stayed at Vistana villages (newest resort) and liked it alot.
My aunt and her family always stay Vistana resort and they love it there because of food options.
However when speaking with other guests, they suggested Parkway vacation village, they said it was cleaner.

We stayed at Wyndham Palms which is now Windsor Palms and it was spectacular. We had a 4 bedroom house with a private pool which the kids really enjoyed. We are staying at the resort again during the kids Spring Break.

I don't know what size villa you are looking for but this resort has condominiums, townhomes and private homes. My kids loved the private movie theatre located in the community clubhouse.
Glen and I give this place two thumbs up as well as the company we rented the villa from, Global, because key pick up was at the guard gate at Windsor Palms.
