We are planning a trip and are thinking about staying at Vacation Village @ Parkway. It looks like a nice place, but I was wondering about the washer/dryer situation. I read that some units have them and I also read that there are laundry facilities located on every floor. Is there any rhyme and reason as to which units have washers and dryers, like do unit A's (the larger ones) have them and unit B's (smaller ones) don't? I would really appreciate any insight or experince any of you have with this resort.
Thanks in advance,
Paige

you are exactly correct:)

Friends of ours stayed there last December in both A&B...W/D was in the A side:)

They loved it...

What a coicidence. We're checking in on sunday there. It is a relatively new place. We've stayed there before. I know the A side has a laundry but I don't remember about B. The A side has a king bed and a pull out queen. The B has a queen bed and pull out queen. A side has a full big kitchen. B has counterkitchen stuff. They have two or three pools... I forget. What I didn't like here, which they have at Orange Lake are the amenities. You only have pool and playground. You don't have minature golf, water sports, golf, tennis, arcade... And I pretty sure there aren't any food courts or restaurants on site. But the pluses are that you are really really close to disney. There are some rooms there that you can see the night show at Epcot (Really)! And you are w/in walking distances to some strip mall stuff. Back to the diff between A & B. A has a huge tv. B has a small tv. A has a jacuzzi in the bedroom (not bathroom). And there's no jacuzzi in B. Really, A is like an apartment and B is more of a studio (but there is a door to the room with the bed).

Hope that helps.

I really appreciate the help from both of you. We would have both suites A&B and I REALLY wanted to ensure that there would be a washer/dryer in one of the suites. It really helps us to pack lighter and I like the fact that I don't have to haul home dirty clothes!!
