Vacation Package thru Disney

Does Disney have special "discounts" with the airlines? Reason why I'm asking is that when I go to the Disney site and get a package quote the package runs XXX and then when I add on airline tickets the price only goes up $500 or so.

Now if I go to travelocity and price the tickets they are well over $1000 for all three of us to fly.

What is Disney doing differently and can I be sure they are getting a ticket for everyone.

They must because we had the same thing happen to us when we booked our DL trip last year and for our WDW trip this year. Airfare was cheaper by booking it thru WDTC. We didn't have any issues last year and we have already received our tickets this year.

Disney, like most Travel Agencys have contracted airfares with certain
airlines, that;s why it's cheaper.
