Vacation Insurance

Just wondering if most people opt out of getting vacation insurance that Disney offers when you book a package. Also if not is there anyone that has had to use it?

I always take the insurance...I don't want to take any chances. Seeing as both my parents died unexpectantly, I fear that someone else will too....I know, but, I just want to be safe..

I always take the insurance - well my 2 trips so far - it was only around $140 to insure a trip that costs a little over $7000 including airline tickets. Definitely worth it if I had to use it! I would rather lose the $140 than the $7000 any day

Insurance is on average about $134 per family for a vacation. I would highly suggest getting the insurance, this past trip, my grandma passed away and I didn't have insurance. Had to pay for an emergency flight home, and while Disney DID reimburse me for a portion of my vacation (a minimal amount), I lost a substantial amount of money.
I will never travel without vacation insurance again!
