Vacation insurance?

Hi there,

If you rent points from a DVC member, is there any way to insure the points?
I will be traveling from Chicago in the dead of winter, and with that always comes the possibility of canceled flights due to weather.

I'm not sure if the insurance that's available from Travel Guard is available to renters or not. You can call them and check. Here's the information from the member website re:travel insurance.
