I need some advice on vacation home rental. I have been to WDW world many times but almost exclusively stay on site. Thinking about trying something different. Mid June at pool home for a week. We would not be going to the parks everyday so we wouldn't have to be right next door. What suggestions can you give as far as areas and rental agencies? There will be 3 adults and 2 children (7 and 6). The only thing I am positve we need is a pool. Any advice would be great.

Here's another disboarder with rental property http://www.5mins2disney.com/

His townhouses are at Windsor Hills. If you've been checking out staying offsite, you've prob seen many of George's posts.

:)

Thanks for the mention! Only thing about my places, they're very booked months in advance, so book early if you're interested!
:goodvibes We do have a few DIS board members coming and staying over the next few months/weeks, I keep hoping they'll come bac and post a review of the resort and our places for the rest of you all! /hint hint!

But, better yet, I get to go myself to WDW next week!

Most of the feedback I get from those who rent is they prefer to deal with the owner, (rather than an agency.) If you are dealing with the person who owns the house, you are pretty much assured that the pictures you are seeing is the house you will actually get. Also the feedback or comments from guests on that website are for that particular house and can be verified.
Have fun!

We used the website www.onlinefloridavillas. There was a huge selection and many with very reasonable rates. We tried one in the Davenport area and really enjoyed the whole experience.

I sent you a PM with information on a house we have stayed in several times and love. Hope this helps.:goodvibes

winnie, would you mind sending me a pm with the link to the house you have stayed at several times? We are thinking about going down this spring and we have 4 boys so hotels are out (have to get a suite and that gets too expensive). The last few times we have stayed in houses and had a much more relaxing vacation. The boys just love having their own pool! I would love your recommendation :goodvibes
