Vacation Home for Disney, Universal and More

I have never rented a vacation home before, but am looking to do so for a multi-family trip this year. We are planning on a two days at Disney (we will also have 5 days on-site later), three days at Universal, one day resting/shopping, and one day to drive to Space Center or beach.

Can some of you experts out there give me some guidance as to which areas might be best located for us? While we don't really want too many long drives, we also do not need to be right outside the park's property.
