Hi guys and Happy Christmas!

We have flown MAN to MCO UC for our last two trips, the first time was supposed to be a once in a lifetime experience :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I have been hanging on for the VA sale to see if UC prices came down at all but they don't seem to be included in the sale. For our first trip we paid around £1200 each and then slightly more in Feb this year. The lowest price I can see at the mo is around £1756.....

We are looking to fly MAN to MCO again in Feb, departing around the 7th/14th for 2 to 3 weeks and we are 2 adults and 2 children. We are quite flexible on dates but do need to incorporate the half term school holiday. UC seats do seem to be going fast now perhaps a few people were waiting for the sale and have now booked as UC is not included?!?

Does anyone one know if there is an UC sale due anytime soon?

My options are, book now, pay for 3 seats and 1 reward seat or wait to see if there is an UC sale in the VERY near future. I would be happy to hang on and then fly PE if UC prices don't come down but DH wants to fly UC and says we may as well use my points now and then if/when we want to go next year, we will definately have to hang on for UC sale or fly PE....... If I wait too long to book the reward seat could disappear and I will NOT be paying full price for all four of us.........

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Ali :goodvibes

PS I'll be back posting once this is booked as I need some fresh ideas for our next trip :thumbsup2

As the current sale is due to run till the end of January I wouldn't want to bet on a UC before then.

Even PE fares have increases a lot over the last 2 years we paid about £100 per person more in April 2008 than we are paying for this year however this was not the lowest cost fare class (S calss tickets as we booked late). Last march we paid about £80 less than we are paying for a sale fare for April this year and that was again a regualar fare and not a sale price.

Good luck in whatever you decide. I dearnt ever book UC for the reason you say - our PE flights in 2007 were meant to be a one off and four PE flights later DH won't fly EC again :rolleyes1
