VA from Manchester

I am trying to sort out flights for my next trip and was going to use Continental from Belfast to Orlando via New York but I am trouble getting a car seat that DS can use on the flight! As VA provide seats for infants have decided to use them!

We normally use VA from Gatwick however may go through Manchester this time! Has anyone used both routes - if so are there any differences in the service?

Haven't flown with VA from Manchester but the planes from both Gatwick and Manchester are now the same configuration and can fly from either airport. I don't think Manchester offer twilight checkin though, but you can still do online checkin.

The planes VA use from Gatwick and Manchester now are the same, 747-400, however there may be some slight differences in the seating plans depending on which aircraft are used.

Manchester does not have a Virgin Clubhouse.

We have just done the VA MAN - MCO route and we did the LGW - MCO a few years ago.
There were no differences in the flight itself. We did get the V-port system on MAN - MCO route.
We used online checkin instead of twilight checkin which actually worked out better for us.

That would have been a LHR aircraft possibly filling in for the normal aircraft.
The majority of the LGW-MCO/MAN-MCO aircraft are (Super) Nova, with a one reconfigured LHR 747 with Odyssey
