Hi ,
I am thinking of booking a miles plus money flight in the next week - does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get through to the English call centre , rather than the Indian one ?
I always have such difficulty getting over to them what I mean .

just try phoning Virgin reservations office in London - or their customer services in London.

If you phone the number on your Flying Club card, you should get through to someone in Crawley. That's certainly the case for Flying Club Silver.

Have you tried a flat money quote? M+M came out more expensive for me!!!

I noticed that for earlier dates , flat rate fares were about £120 cheaper than m+m

I'm glad it's not just me!

I've been price-watching for flights next May, checking both standard and M+M fares. Last week the fares came down for the first time since they became available, but the M+M fare is higher than the standard. Thinking that can't be right, I phoned Virgin. The lady on the phone agreed but the system would only give her the same prices. She said she'd pass the query on.

Today the prices have fallen again, but M+M is still higher than standard.

I could understand if there was no availablity for M+M, but cannot fathom the reasoning behind offering it at a higher rate.
