VA flights pay in full?

It's been a long time since I've booked flights on VA website but this time they seem to be cheaper than the US carriers. Does anybody know if I will have to pay in full at the time of booking? Thanks

Just got the answer, it appears I do pay in full.

We had to pay in full for ours, which is rather annoying when you are not going till march next year!!!!

Its a big chunk of money to go so soon before your holiday, but I suppose at least it is out of the way!!!

I've just booked virgin flights through dial-a-flight for July 09. I only had to pay a deposit and the balance not due till May 09.

I paid in full for my flights in May 09.

This was one of the reasons we booked a flydrive through BA Holidays - and at a very similar price for June 2009. Only had to pay a small deposit which was ideal.

We booked virgin flights through charter travel for august next year, had to take the lowest car package available for £99 but this allowed us to just pay a deposit on the flights

Yes me to, I booked last week for flights in Feb and had to pay in full, still done now..

We looked at VA flights for OCt 09 and didn't fancy paying straight away, so booked a VH flydrive for virtually the same price.

If you pay just a deposit by booking via a TA or TO, is the price guaranteed?

You should be able to book the same flights at the same price through Trailfinders and only pay a deposit.
You have to phone and actually get to speak to a human being!! VG service and can be good value for hotels as well.
