VA - Extra Legroom

Hi All

I have just paid in advance for extra legroom seats on our outbound and return flights to the mouse next August - good value I felt at £20pp (had these seats to NY and were fantastic) so for a family of 2 adults and a 14 and 11 year old felt worth the cost. The frustrating bit is - although I have paid for these in advance you cannot pre book your seats until you check in??!!!. I know anyone that pre books is not guarenteed etc etc but you would have thought that if you were paying a premium and there are a restricted number of these seats you would be able to pre select

We are always so excited and keen that we check in about 4 hours before flight so Im sure all will be fine just find it a bit bizarre!

Some extra legroom seats are at the exit doors (which come with restrictions) and some are not, so they leave this until check in so that they can assess who is suitable for which seats

Just did mine too, extra legroom on the way out at £20 and emergency exit seats on the way back at £40.....happy with that as we are both fairly tall especially DH at 6"4!!!

Good purchase me thinks.....
