VA 747, Manchester to Orlando - anyone done it lately?

Hi again everyone

Planning for next years trip is well and truly underway

Can anyone help me with this please? It looks like the A330s are no longer running this route (massively disappointing as we loved the new planes )

Anyway, is PE similar to that in the A330 (but in the bubble?) and is the in flight entertainment similar? Eg., we had 50 movies to choose from on the A330 but I'm reading reports saying the 747s have the old entertainment system still?

The flight cost isn't cheap so I might be disappointed if it isn't as good as the A330.

Help please?!

The 747s have the same IFE and seats.

The PE cabin is both downstairs in a 2-4-2 config and in the front half of the bubble in a 2-2 config.

Downstairs disembarks first the bubble & the main E cabin at the same time.

Do you know if all the 747's are the same - they are selling Upper Class tickets for the flights we have looked at and I thought some routes only ran PE?

All Lgw/Man 747's are the same and have 14 upper class seats in the nose section downstairs.

Some of the a330's had no upper class cabins though they are being fitted with them slowly now and will be flying the Caribbean routes
